Historical Film: David Fleay taipan documentary

This film from the 1960's shows the late Sir David Fleay catching, milking, and free-handling captive bred taipans at his Burleigh Heads Fauna Park. Some of this footage is simply amazing. It shows the capture of Fleay's first taipan, the hatching of his first captive-bred taipans, and remarkable footage of him handling taipans with an almost casual disregard. Fleay had a much under-appreciated skill in handling venomous snakes that few people would be familiar with, but he ably demonstrates those skills here. There are very few people in the world living, or dead who have any like Fleay's affinity for these deadly snakes. WARNING: Do not attempt to duplicate what you see in this video.
