Common Kingsnakes
Lampropeltis getula

These large heavy bodied predators can often grow up to 4 feet, and are typically voracious feeders in the wild and captivity. Known for their ability to predate upon venomous snakes, common kingsnakes were some of the first colubrid snakes bred in captivity commercially as pets.
