Road To Indian Hot Springs

    This road which is public, begins about 25 miles South of Sierra Blanca. This is one of my favorite local hunting roads. I have found many interesting snakes here. There is an abundance of deeply fragmented rock consisting of everything from limestone to volcanic rock. Collectable areas begin from the turn off from FM 1111 to the Rio Grande River (about 10 miles). The picture below is of the Indian Hot Springs Ranch on the Rio Grande River (U.S. / Mexico Border). The road is USUALLY passable by 2 wheel drive vehicle.
