OH: Pet owners pile on to oppose wording of Salem ordinance
SALEM - Pet owners packed city council chambers Tuesday night regarding revisions planned for the ordinance dealing with animals, including a store owner who sells some of the exotic pets the proposal could ban.

Ontario Canada: Thorold animal control bylaw fines finalized
Back in April, city council approved the new bylaw meant to protect both animals and people. But the fines proposed needed to be approved by the province, under the Provincial Offences Act.

INDIANAPOLIS — A change in state rules regulating the disposal of dead livestock has added those carcasses to the menu of Indiana's growing menagerie of exotic flesh-eating animals such as lions and tigers.
